More about this plant
A weeping redbud with stronger, more upright leaders than most pendulous selections, forming a low branching small tree around 10 to 12 feet tall and 6 to 10 feet wide. Vibrant rosy lavender-pink pea-like flowers cover the cascading branches in spring before the heart-shaped green foliage emerges, and the leaves turn yellow in fall. It is adaptable and easy to grow in most any well drained soil in sun or partial shade, and is both heat tolerant and cold hardy to about twenty below zero. Use it as a specimen or accent near a patio, an entry or the front of a border where the weeping habit can be seen.
