More about this plant
Lemon Lime nandina is a compact evergreen shrub, about 3 to 4 feet tall and wide, whose new growth emerges bright lemon lime chartreuse and matures to a clear bright green, giving year round colour without flowers or fall change. The foliage is the finely divided, bamboo like compound leaf typical of nandina, held on upright cane like stems. It takes full sun to shade, grows in clay, loam or sand across acid to alkaline pH with good drainage, and is deer and drought resistant. Use it as a bright accent, a low hedge, a mass planting or a container plant. All parts of nandina are poisonous if eaten.
