More about this plant
A fast growing juniper with arching, fountain like branches spreading four to six feet tall and six to eight feet wide, carrying dark mint green foliage that darkens through winter. It wants full sun and well drained clay, loam or sand across the full pH range, and once established it resists drought, air pollution, salt, cedar apple rust and deer. Bagworms are the main pest and are easily removed. Use it as a foundation spreader, a lawn accent, a mass planting or a low informal screen where the arching habit has room to show.
