More about this plant
A narrow columnar selection of the native eastern redcedar, reaching 20 to 25 feet tall on a footprint only three or four feet wide, with aromatic blue green to gray green scale like foliage and dark gray brown bark that exfoliates in thin strips. It wants full sun and grows on clay, loam, sand or shallow rocky ground with good drainage, tolerating drought, dry and poor soil and even black walnut. This is a male clone, so it sets no berry like cones. Use it as a vertical accent, a tight screen along a walk or pool, or a specimen where width is at a premium.
- Full Sun
- Grows to 25 ft tall and 4 ft wide
- Hardy in USDA zones 4-9

- Native plant
