More about this plant
A slow growing, dense mound of silvery blue awl shaped foliage held in overlapping whorls of three, reaching one to three feet tall and one to four feet wide. It wants full sun and tolerates clay, loam or sand across a wide pH range provided drainage is good. Once established it stands up to drought, dry and poor soil, air pollution and deer, and it holds its colour through winter. Its small scale suits it to rock gardens, small spaces, foundation borders and mass plantings, or as a single specimen where the blue is the point.
- Full Sun
- Grows to 3 ft tall and 4 ft wide
- Hardy in USDA zones 4-8
- Evergreen foliage
