More about this plant
Spice Baby is a compact, upright Koreanspice viburnum that reaches only about 3.5 to 5 feet tall and wide, which puts the famous spicy spring fragrance into a small garden or a foundation bed where the full size species would outgrow its place. White flowers open from early to late spring over green foliage. It wants part sun to sun, at least four hours, and a moist, well drained soil with average water. It is deer resistant and easy to keep, needing only a controlled release feed in spring and a trim after flowering. Berries set only if a second, different Viburnum carlesii cultivar is planted nearby as a pollinator.
- Full Sun
- Grows to 5 ft tall and 5 ft wide
- Blooms in spring
- Hardy in USDA zones 4-8
- Deciduous foliage
