More about this plant
A dwarf Japanese garden juniper that stays six inches to a foot tall while spreading three to six feet, building a dense mounding mat of fine prickly blue green needles. It takes full sun and almost any soil, from clay to sand to shallow rock, across the full pH range as long as drainage is good, and tolerates drought, dry soil, erosion and deer. Its small scale and layered form make it a standard for rock gardens, containers, slope cover and low borders, and it holds its colour through winter.
- Full Sun
- Grows to 1 ft tall and 6 ft wide
- Hardy in USDA zones 4-9
- Evergreen foliage
- Native plant
