More about this plant

A low growing, bushy and spreading Southern Living Plant Collection camellia of 3 to 4 feet in each direction, chosen for a habit like the well known 'Shishi Gashira', with dense dark green evergreen foliage. Porcelain white formal double blooms open over a very long season from late fall into winter, when few other trees and shrubs are flowering. It takes full sun to part shade with medium water in a moist, well drained soil rich in organic matter and slightly acid. Use it for accents, borders, containers, low hedges, mass plantings, slopes and woodland gardens.
