More about this plant
A vigorous, upright and bushy Southern Living Plant Collection camellia of 6 to 8 feet tall and 4 to 5 feet wide, with evergreen foliage that pushes maroon coloured new growth each spring. Large double flowers of white edged with a narrow magenta margin open through fall into winter and make good cut flowers. It takes full sun to part shade, though light shade gives the best bloom, and wants a moist, well drained soil rich in organic matter and slightly acid. Use it for accents, borders, containers, hedges, mass plantings and privacy screens.
