More about this plant

An improved Annabelle type smooth hydrangea reaching 4 to 5 feet tall and wide, with sturdy stems that resist flopping under enormous white flower heads nearly the size of basketballs. The blooms open white through early, mid and late summer and age to jade green, persisting through frost. Proven Winners recommends part sun to sun with at least six hours a day for the best bloom, amended soil, average water and a mulch layer, and cutting the plant back by about one third each spring. Its dark green foliage and long lasting flowers suit landscapes, naturalizing, hedges and perennial gardens.
