More about this plant

Annabelle is a fast growing, rounded, multi stemmed selection of the native smooth hydrangea, carrying pure white flower heads up to 12 inches across from late spring into fall on sturdy stems that hold up to heavy rain. The coarse, sharply toothed dark green leaves back the bloom, and the brown bark shreds and peels in thin layers. It grows about 3 to 5 feet tall and wide in partial sun on moist, well drained soil, blooms on new wood so it is pruned in spring, and is used for borders, mass plantings, containers and cutting.
