More about this plant

Natchez is an upright, spreading, multi stemmed deciduous large shrub or small tree, a cross between Lagerstroemia indica 'Pink Lace' and L. subcostata var. faurei. From late June to September it carries 6 to 12 inch panicles of showy, pure white, ruffled, crepe paper like flowers, each panicle holding 100 to 800 blooms. The glossy dark green leaves turn brilliant orange red in fall and the dark cinnamon brown bark exfoliates with age.
