More about this plant
Blue Rocket is a selection of Arizona cypress, a fast growing evergreen conifer with an erect, pyramidal crown and fine textured scale foliage in green to blue green or grey green tones. The species takes full sun and loam, sand or clay soils that drain well, uses little water once established, and resists deer, drought, heat, disease, insect pests and salt. Furrowed brown bark and cones of about one to three inches follow, and the dense evergreen growth gives cover and nesting sites for songbirds and small mammals. It is planted for screening, barriers, windbreaks and specimen use on dry sites in full sun.
