More about this plant

A holly with a tidy cone shaped growth habit reaching 5 to 10 feet tall and 3 to 6 feet wide, hardy in zones 6 to 9. Unusually for a holly its foliage is soft to the touch with no spines, and new growth flushes red before settling down. Its narrow, upright cone gives it a natural formal outline without shearing, which suits a screen, a corner accent or a pair flanking an entrance.
