More about this plant
A medium sized, rounded, dense, multi stemmed hybrid shrub with fine textured, glossy dark green leaves that take on purple and red tones in fall. Small funnel to bell shaped white and pink fragrant flowers are borne in cymes from late spring through fall, with reddish calyces that persist after the petals drop, and they draw bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. It is hardy, drought tolerant and easy to grow in full sun to partial shade on any well drained soil across a wide pH range, and once established it needs very little maintenance.
