Paintbox Purple is a bright, saturated deep pink with very good color retention, with large, well-petalled 2 inch flowers on an excellent spherical habit. Plants grow about 15 to 20 inches tall. Plant in full sun and well-drained soil, with some afternoon shade in warmer locations; too much shade makes plants sprawl. Garden mums flower in autumn and overwinter outdoors easily in the South.
