More about this plant
A Glen Dale hybrid azalea forming an open, multi stemmed evergreen shrub with an upright spreading habit, generally 4 to 6 feet tall and about as wide. White single trumpet shaped blooms 2.5 to 3 inches across, marked with a faint chartreuse blotch, open early to mid spring and drop clean when spent, over dark green foliage that emerges coppery bronze. It is very cold hardy for an evergreen azalea and wants rich, acid, high organic, evenly moist but well drained soil, being very sensitive to alkaline conditions and unable to tolerate standing water. Use it as an accent, in mass plantings, or in beds, borders and woodland shade gardens.
