More about this plant
A compact, dense and rounded dwarf Encore azalea about 2.5 feet tall by 3 feet wide that blankets itself in huge quantities of bright white single flowers roughly 2 inches across. It blooms in spring and repeats in summer and fall, over dense dark green evergreen foliage that carries structure and contrast the rest of the year. Give it 4 to 6 hours of direct sun, with morning sun and afternoon shade ideal in hotter regions, and acid soil that is well drained and evenly moist, watering deeply in heat or drought. Feed with a slow release azalea or rhododendron fertilizer in early spring and prune right after the spring flowering. It suits borders and massing.
