More about this plant
An upright, dense and well branched Encore azalea about 4 feet tall by 3 feet wide, naturally compact enough for foundation plantings and narrow beds. The medium pink semi-double blooms are about 2.25 inches across with a refined, ruffled look, opening in a strong spring flush and returning in summer and autumn as conditions allow, over dense dark green evergreen foliage. Plant in acid, well drained soil and keep it consistently moist while establishing, watering deeply in heat or drought. It wants 4 to 6 hours of direct sun, with morning sun and afternoon shade ideal in hotter climates. Feed with a slow release azalea fertilizer in early spring and prune only after the spring bloom.
