More about this plant
A dwarf Encore azalea with a dense, rounded, well branched form about 3 feet tall and 3.5 feet wide, carrying deep orange red semi-double blooms roughly 2.5 inches across whose layered petals add depth. A big spring show is followed by repeat flushes through summer into autumn, over dark green glossy evergreen foliage. Give it 4 to 6 hours of direct sun, with morning sun and afternoon shade preferred in hotter climates, and acid soil that is well drained and consistently moist; amend dense or alkaline soils with organic matter and a soil acidifier.
